Who we are

SDS Healthy Mind Initiatives ("SDS", "we") runs sds-hmi.com. This policy explains what personal data the website collects, why, and the choices you have. For any privacy question or request, email rounak.wellbeing@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry: your name, email, phone number, and, if you fill them in, your organisation, team or student numbers, your message and the page you sent it from.

When you sign in with Google: your Google account ID, name, email address and profile photo, which Google shares with us when you choose to sign in. If you add them on your account page, we also keep your phone number, city and whether you want email updates.

When you enter a quiz: your chosen public display name, language, saved answers, start and completion times, score, and any exclusion reason are linked to your account. If you win, an admin may publish your chosen display name, rank, and score on the website after you accept this notice before starting. Your email address is not published.

When you log practice: the practice date and duration, linked to your account, so you can see your history, totals and streaks. You can remove individual sessions from My practice.

To prevent spam and abuse: a one-way, salted hash of your internet (IP) address. We do not store the address itself.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you sign in, your browser stores your Google sign-in session and a small "signed in" flag so you stay signed in.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry and arrange the programme or session you asked about.

To run your account: show your profile, quiz results, practice history and the enquiries you have sent, and send you updates only if you turn them on.

To keep the website secure and limit spam.

We rely on your consent, which you give by sending an enquiry or signing in. You can withdraw it at any time (see "Your rights").

Who processes it for us

We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it for advertising. These services store or process it on our behalf:

Netlify: hosts the website and runs our server code (United States).

Neon: our database (Amazon Web Services, United States, Ohio region).

Google Firebase: Google sign-in.

Google Gmail: delivers enquiry alerts to our team.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to respond and keep a record of our work, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your account is kept until you delete it. Deleting your account removes your profile, private quiz attempts and practice history straight away, and removes your personal details from enquiries you sent while signed in. Published quiz winner names are changed to "Deleted member".

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw your consent, and raise a grievance with us.

You can edit or delete your account yourself on the My account page. For anything else, email rounak.wellbeing@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

The website is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us on your behalf.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with providers that encrypt it at rest. Only our team can see enquiries and member details.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
